THE KING IS COMING SERVE IN THE NEWNESS OF LIFE

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye  should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.      John 15:16

God is calling us into the newness of life.  When we stick to the old, we struggle and open doors for the devil because the old is governed by the law (Rom 7:6).  To walk in the new, we need to understand we are no longer a part of the world and its conversations (Jn 15:19, Eph 4:22-24). Instead, we are transforming (Rom 12:2).  We receive the blessings of Abraham and the newness of life (Gen 12:2-3, Rom 6:4). We are led by the Spirit (Rom 8:14).

We were held by the law because of sin. The death and blood of Jesus is the end of the law for every believer (Rom 10:4).  Where is life challenging you? Tell the devil “I am dead there.” Jesus bought our freedom from the sins of our fathers, from family problems, from health issues. Apply the Blood. Pray the Word and hit the target in the Spirit.

The coming battle is accusation (Rev 12:10-11). Appropriate what Jesus has already done. The battle is already won by the Blood of the Lamb. The blood on the doorposts stopped the angel of death from entering the houses in Egypt (Ex 12:23).  How much more powerful is the blood of Jesus!  He is the solution for the world (Jn 3:16).  With Jesus we are never alone or afraid (Ps 23:4, Rom 6:11).

Follow Jesus and you can never lose.  We receive an abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness because of Jesus' obedience (Rom 5:17, Luk 22:41-44). He endured because of the joy set ahead of Him – our reconciliation (Heb 12:2, Dan 2:34-35,44).  Our faith overcomes (1Jn 5:4).  Believe in the finished work which was done for you. The evidence of your faith is the fruit of the Spirit manifesting in your life (Heb 11:1, Gal 5:22-23).  It's time to produce more evidence (Matt 7:20).

Your faith is counted as righteousness (Rom 4:5). Rejoice, righteousness is given to you, it is not your efforts (Rom 4:6-8).  This year let's be sure we order our priorities rightly (Matt 6:33, Col 1:18).
